So I've been looking at the CAT bus routes in regards to my new job and decided to see if I could get to the East Shore meet up by ways of bus route. Yeah, I totally can. As long as I get to Market Street in Harrisburg by 11:30 I can get to the meetup by noon and then when the meet up ends at I believe 5 I can then hang around for a little bit before catching a ride at 5:39 back to Market Street by noon. Unfortunately the route by my house doesn't run on Saturdays so I'll have to find a ride downtown by hooray for trying to reestablish independence in little ways despite moving back in with your parents and having no car following a rough breakup!
Anyway.
Not much to report on the NaNo front today. In fact, nothing at all. I did lawn work which killed my allergies and spent most of the day moping because of it. And working on my son's family tree. Check this out, on my side of the family I can trace his tree all the way back to his 8th great grandfather. Pretty impressive right? Right? Wait til you hear this then. On his mom's side I've traced it to his 31st great grandfather who was a Welsh King named Ynyr ab Gwert.
Yeah. My kid is royal.

Day -16
Welcome to my first piece of NaNo blogging! I'm glad you're here :)
I'm Ellis and I've decided (no, committed) that this November I will finally write the novel I'm been kicking around for years. Maybe by the end of it I'll have 1667 tattooed on me somewhere. Who knows. November is going to be a crazy month. And it's great too because October, November, and December are by far my favorite time of the year so NaNo will just add to that!
Today I registered my sponsorship page and sent emails out to a few people requesting sponsorship. None obliged. Typical my friends and family ahah. But that's fine, I have formally announced my intentions for the world to be aware of and that feels huge to me. I've also decided I'd like to raise at least $1,000 which seems a hefty goal but that 30 minute phone call from the two book doctors would be SO awesome.
Also today I downloaded a program called WriteWayPro which should help me immensely during the craziness of next month. Also, they are offering their software for free for the month of November in order to help with the NaNoWriMo craze so you gotta love 'em. Kindred spirits and all.
Literally, all I've talked about today was NaNo. I feel like an athlete training for a big event by totally immersing myself in this subject. I love it.
I did other non NaNo stuff with my nephews too but surely you're not interested in that, are you?
Cheers!
